In this paper, a series of experiments is conducted on thin-walled tube specimens subjected to in-phase and out-of-phase loading paths. Material behaviors of plastic anisotropy due to deformation history as well as the neutral loading are experimentally observed. They are thus theoretically interpreted along with the endochronic model which admits the normality rule. It is shown that the phenomena of plastic anisotropy and neutral loading can be both theoretically and experimentally examined.
