Abstract

In recent years, mobile phones have become very popular due to technology advances. However, unprotected personal photos and videos can easily be leaked when the phone falls into the hands of a malicious user. In this paper, we propose a multimedia privacy-preserving system for mobile phones. The system can protect information of the faces on the images or encrypt the whole image. Since most of the mobile phones are equipped with low computational power, low complexity and high accuracy are the two chief considerations for our system. Experimental results show the feasibility of the proposed method.
