Abstract
An analytical modeling of condensation heat transfer characteristics under reflux cooling modes in single vertical tube surrounded by external isothermal fluid was conducted in the present work. The dimensionless film thickness, heat transfer coefficient as well as the temperature profile in the condensate film are formulated and calculated numerically. Furthermore, the limiting cases of both uniform wall temperature and the adiabatic condition were derived from the present study results.
