title = "MINIWAN: A New Framework For Simulating Multi-Segment Network Topology Based On Mininet",
abstract = "With the development of technology of SDN and the network based on the software-defined concept getting more and more extensive, traditionally centralized architecture achieves high network throughput but causes the risk of single point of failure for the entire network. Large network can't afford any global outage. Thus, for stability, online service providers (OSP) start to deploy SD- W AN traffic engineering system based on distributed, decentralized architecture [1] [2].For the developers, it is difficult to simulate a multi- datacenters SD- W AN topology in local environment. We present MINIW AN, a new framework which can help developers simulate SD- W AN network environment on their own computer. Through network topology described by yaml, MINIWAN can build a local SD-WAN experimental environments to support multi-controller and multi-network- segment by using some features provided by Linux kernel and APls provided by MINIWAN [3].",
