Abstract

A 0.18-μm CMOS broadband mixer for ultra-wideband receivers is presented. A lossy LC ladder is utilized to achieve the broadband impedance match at the RF port. This circuit achieves high conversion gain of 10.4 dB, with 3-dB bandwidth from 0.3 to 10.9 GHz and low power consumption of 15 mW under 2.5-V supply voltage.
