Abstract

We demonstrate an optical switch in LiNbO3 integrated circuits based on an electro-optic (EO) polarization-mode converter and a broadband adiabatic polarizing-beam splitter. The device features high EO switching efficiency (~95%) and broadband (>100 nm) tunability.
