Abstract
An improved tracking loop with interference-cancellation diversity is proposed for direct sequence/spread spectrum communication systems over frequency selective fading channels. Multipath interference (MPI) is regenerated to cancel its effects from the incoming sequences before the arm error signals are extracted path by path independently to obtain much more robust error characteristics.
