Abstract
An InIII phosphate, Na3In(PO4)2, has been synthesized by high-temperature/high-pressure hydrothermal method and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 5.1409(5), b = 18.197(2), c = 7.1355(7) Å, β = 92.355(2)°, V = 667.0(2) Å3 and Z = 4. The structure consists of large channels where the Na+ cations are located. The framework is built up from corner-sharing InO6 octahedra and PO4 tetrahedra.
