Abstract
The pinning behavior in YBa2Cu3O7/La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 (YBCO/LSMO) nanocrystalline bilayers grown on (1 0 0) LaAlO3 substrate has been investigated. It is found that by increasing the thickness of LSMO(t) from 0 to 40 nm, the critical current density Jc of YBCO is suppressed. However, in the bilayer with t = 30 nm, an enhancement of Jc is observed at high field, which may be caused by the magnetic pinning of LSMO layer.
