Abstract

This paper proposes a DC-DC high step-up converter featuring zero-current switching (ZCS) and a voltage multiplier cell. The converter is primarily based on a conventional boost circuit, integrating coupled inductors and a switched-capacitor-based voltage multiplier unit. By utilizing the leakage inductance of the coupled inductor and a capacitor to form a resonant circuit, the resonant principle enables zero-current switching of the switching components within the voltage multiplier unit during turn-off. This effectively reduces switching losses, particularly when enhancing the step-up ratio of the converter.
