Abstract

This paper provides analytical details about the way to control the active power output of a stand-alone photovoltaic (PV) generator. For economic and sizing reasons, we obtain the maximum amount of the energy converted to meet the load requirements. This paper is to build up a new power control scheme for a stand-alone PV generation system. The flexibility and expandability of the PV generation system could be achieved after the conversion efficiency and voltage gain increase. The results of the experiment show that using fuzzy control could greatly promote the validity and reliability of the step-up converter and the Pulse-width modulation (PWM) converter control for a stand-alone PV generation system.
