Fuzzy entropy management via scaling, elevation and saturation

Abstract

We suggest to manage the entropy of a fuzzy set through a transformation which consists of the scaling, elevation, and saturation operations. This process enables one to maintain a similar shape of the membership function. The entropy change due to the operation(s) is studied.
