N2 - Precast concrete components production in the construction industry is a highly labor-intensive and experience-oriented process. This research aims to explore the association rules of precast production procedures in order to optimize production efficiency and costs. Precast concrete production data from 2008 to 2017 in Taiwan were collected and a database on three major construction components, namely columns, girders, and beams, was established. A total of 18,854 columns, 19,558 beams, and 16,731 girders were found, and each component contains a 14-step production procedure. The Pearson correlation analysis was carried out to determine the relationship between the production procedures, and the Apriori algorithm was adopted with the confidence level and support value of the parameters set at 90% and 14%, respectively. The results revealed that the lofting process significantly influences other procedures for girder production, while for beam and column productions, item pre-installation significantly influences other procedures.
