Evaluating scale economics impact of commerce automation on retail trade in Taiwan

Abstract

The economic of scale for the commerce automation adopters and non-adopters are measured from a national survey of retail trade, respectively. In this paper, the production function is specified as an additive nonparametric model for the empirical study. The finding of this paper shows that the impact of altering the contour of economic of scale through commerce automation driven is significant.
