Abstract

In this paper, we propose an error-driven incidental language learning framework and a movie player which is created within such framework. This movie player is designed to offer users a great chance in learning the correct usage of collocations which they previously produced erroneously, i.e., miscollocations. The framework and the movie player include a standard corpus, a learner corpus, an error detection module and an error correction module. Prior experimentation shows the promising performance of the error detection and correction.
