Emergency incident management system for community safety services (EIMS)

Abstract

EIMS is a stable and safe communication system. It integrates the communication of citizen patrols and police units. When unexpected emergency happens, the system can enhance the citizen patrols' communications capabilities, decrease the time in communication and response, and reduce the loss of life and property. There are five citizen patrols implemented EIMS in northern Taiwan. They have enhanced the capacity of community citizen patrols. And, there are more than 1,500 residents to enjoy the efficient of its system.
