Electro-Optic Spectral Switching and Q-switching in a Dual-Wavelength Nd:YVO4 Laser Based on Aperiodically Poled Lithium Niobate

Abstract

We demonstrate a novel dualwavelength Nd:YVO4 laser where either or both of its emission lines can be selected and Qswitched electrooptically using a domainengineered LiNbO3. Electrooptic switching among five wavelengths from the system is observed.
