Abstract

We report the first attempt on constructing an aperiodically poled LiNbCO₃ for optimally integrating dual nonlinear-optical devices. >50% second-harmonic-generation conversion efficiency enhancement over a conventional cascaded periodically poled LiNbCO₃ is obtained with such a device.
