Abstract

In this paper, we present using water as the interfacial bonding material directly bonding of thermoplastic microfluidics device without using any other additional material. This water-assisted bonding was achieved by surface activation and device bonding steps. The water-assisted bonding mechanism and effects of critical process parameters were evaluated.
