Abstract

The devil's staircase structure of topological entropy functions for one-dimensional symmetric unimodal maps was investigated. The results were obtained by using kneading theory and were used in the investigation of the communication of chaos. The study demonstrated the devil's staircase structure of topological entropy functions for one-dimensional symmetric unimodal maps with a gap inside.
