Abstract

Most of intelligent tutoring systems (ITSs) were used to be developed by researchers or professionals with knowledge engineering background, due to knowledge model development. As a result, most of teachers, who are the best candidates of ITS developers in terms of their knowledge and motivation, are hindered from developing relevant systems. This study aims to explore a general approach for teachers to developing a computer-supported tutoring interaction component. Interaction data reuse (IDR) is proposed as the key concept for the design of the development approach.
