Determination of the low level wind structure using a moving frame and single Doppler radar data

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract

The method of moving frame of reference is further extended by implementing the constraints of weak incompressibility and small vertical vorticity into the formulation. Through testing against artificial model-produced radar data, the improved technique shows better performance than the original algorithm proposed by ZG96. The new method also demonstrates greater applicability.
