Abstract

We present a simple and low-cost complete wet etching process to fabricate the Ag nanoparticle-decorated nanostructured silicon substrate for SERS. We explore microdroplet confinement and manipulation methods as focusing lens on nanostructured silicon for enhanced uniformity and sensitivity for SERS.
