Abstract

This study uses planar laser-induced fluorescence (PLIF) technique to measure the concentration distribution of single port, horizontally discharged buoyant jets in crossflows. The result of concentration measurement was verified against an independent concentration sampling technique. Dilution of the buoyant jets can be calculated based on the measured concentration profiles.
