Research is the primary function of the Case Center for Electrochemical Sciences (CCES). Many industial organizations and government agencies support research in electrochemistry at Case. CCES and its participating departments offer one of the most comprehensive graduate programs in electrochemistry in the United States. CCES also sponsors short courses, lectures, and workshops in electrochemistry for scientists and engineers. Some research projects are cited.
