Abstract
Dynamic stability of transversely isotropic Mindlin circular plates subjected to periodic radial loads is studied. The periodic radial loads are taken to be the combination of a pulsating compressive stress and a pulsating bending stress. The Galerkin method and Bolotin's method are used to obtain the regions of dynamic instability. The effects of some parameters on the dynamic instability regions are investigated.
