APPLN electro-optic Bragg Q-switch in a dual-wavelength Nd:YVO4 laser for pulsed orange generation

Abstract

We report an efficient, genuine dual-wavelength laser Q-switch based on an aperiodically poled lithium niobate electro-optic Bragg cell, with which a ∼330-W, 593-nm intracavity sum-frequency generator was demonstrated in a diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 laser.
