Abstract

Jyh-Dongl Lin,National freeways are key components of a country's domestic network. These north-To-south and east-Towest links greatly improve the convenience of a country's overall road system. Through studying various pavement indices, freeways can be categorized into various types according to their attributes, and their corresponding maintenance methods can be identified. In this study, freeway pavement is classified into three major groups and nine subgroups. Statistical sampling method is then conducted to further analyze these groups to confirm the annual dynamic segmentation of various freeway sections. The final dynamic segmentation is then used to establish a system.
