An LTCC coupled-line bandpass filter with multiple transmission zeros

Abstract

A novel implementation of a low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) bandpass filter is presented in this paper. This filter is based on the broadside coupled-line structure with additional tapped-stub quarter-wavelength resonators to provide multiple transmission zeros, and also using stepped-impedance resonators to reduce the stub lengths. The proposed filter is implemented in a three-layer ceramic substrate using the LTCC technology, and the measured results agree quite well with the full-wave electromagnetic simulated responses.
