Abstract
A micro-generator for harvesting rotational energy from environmental activities is proposed. By integrating conducting coils with rotational mechanism and magnets, the generator can induce electrical power through electromagnetic conversion. The output performances of the proposed generator under various rotational speeds are studied and demonstrated. The generator is expected to supply sufficient power for micro sensors, compared with typical micro-generators.
