Abstract

Saturated sandstone specimens were used in a series of consolidated undrained triaxial tests. Test loading conditions included quasi-static and repeated loadings. Based on the experimental results, the relationship between the axial strain and the fatigue life of the test specimens was established. Variation of the pore water pressure during the repeated loading process was observed and discussed.
