Abstract

Highly ordered cubic mesoporous carbons with the cubic I4 132 mesostructure have been synthesized via organic-inorganic self-assembly of tetraethoxysilane (TEOS), triblock copolymer Pluronic P123, and sucrose under acidic conditions.
