Abstract

We present an instruction on demand system with its underlying multimedia, database support. The purpose of our system is to support the design of several computer science related courses in our university. The software includes a number of subcomponents including an instruction design and playback system, a class administrator, and a whiteboard system. With the availability of our multimedia database management system, instructors can design, organize, and reuse courses efficiently.
