Abstract

A home-based motion-sensing tele-rehabilitation system that incorporated motion-sensing technology and cloud technology was developed for improving the rehabilitation mode of patients with frozen shoulder. The system will enable the patients to carry out motion-sensing rehabilitation at home and its rehabilitation results can be calculated and analyzed instantly in terms of motion effect index with cloud computing technology. The system will also enable medical professionals to find out patients' rehabilitation status via a cloud system and issue personalized prescriptions of home-based rehabilitation system for individual patients.
