Abstract

This paper describes a class of (d,k) block codes with minimum Hamming distance d_min = 3 , i-e., with single error correcting capability. The construction of (d,k) codes with d_min =3 is based upon dklr-sequences and cyclic Hamming codes. The coding rate and the decoding procedure of the constructed codes are also provided.
