A 2D space-frequency receiver with reduced-rank multistage wiener filters for MC-CDMA systems

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a 2-D receiver structure for MC-CDMA systems with the reduced-rank multistage Weiner filter. The 2-D space-frequency receiver does not require angle of arrival estimation and explicitly channel estimation. Due to faster convergence property of the reduced rank processing, it outperforms the MMSE-based receivers with the classical Weiner solution estimated by using a small finite number of samples.
