This plan proposes an ultra-wide angle lens with 80 degree half angle of view and 4 million pixels. Thelens design can tolerate temperatures from -20 C to 60 C. The important specifications of the lens designas follow 80 degree half angle of view, F/2.2, effect focal length 2.212 mm, lens length less than 25 mm.Three influences for a lens when temperature change are the refractive index change with temperature, thermal expansion and contraction of the lens, and thermal expansion and contraction of mechanism part.We expected to design the lens and correct the heat problem in one years.First, we will finish lens design for the room temperature. The imaging quality requirements are theMTF (180 lp/mm)>45%, the relative illuminance >70%, lateral chromatic aberration<2 m, F-thetadistortion<2%. Then, we will finish lens design for the temperature from -20 C to 60 C and consider boththe refractive index change with temperature and thermal expansion and contraction of the lens. Theimaging quality requirements are the MTF (150 lp/mm)>40%, the relative illuminance >70%, lateralchromatic aberration<2 m, F-theta distortion<2%. The lens of this plan not only can be used on cars butalso monitor, driving record, cell phones, tablet computers ,laptops and all digital imaging products.
