Based on the background and current situation of Taiwanese Sign Language, this project aims to implement a pilot remote live teaching model in the 110th academic year to teach students who choose Taiwanese Sign Language before the official implementation of the National Language Development Law of Taiwanese Sign Language in the 111 academic year. In the 110th academic year, schools recommended by counties and cities to participate in small-scale distance teaching of Taiwanese sign language, to try out the practice and effectiveness of the use of long-distance teaching mode of Taiwanese sign language, the purpose is to solve the problem that Taiwanese sign language may face the lack of teachers and lead to the recruitment of teachers, and use the results as the basis for continuing to promote the recommendations in the 111 school year. Then, starting from the 111 school year, a large-scale remote live teaching of Taiwanese sign language was officially implemented across Taiwan. During the period, relevant teacher training, questionnaire surveys, expert meetings, explanatory meetings, exchange meetings, school visits and other implementation matters will also be handled, so that the formal implementation of sign language distance teaching in the local language period can also be smoother.
