The Development of an Immersive Learning Environment – Vr Lab

Project Details

Description

The rapid development of information technology greatly changed our current learning methods. Learning is not limited to the traditional classroom teaching. E-learning is one example. Through e-Learning digital teaching materials like video streaming, learning lack of a rich sense of experience. If learning only by the films or the pictures, the current high school courses of the physical and chemical experiments may lose realistic sense of experience. So that we plan to combine the current mainstream virtual reality technology for the country school students and high school students to create a virtual laboratory. Not only take the advantages of distance learning, but also provide immersive lab stimulation. Users get a sense of reality, a sense of participation, a sense of accomplishment, to achieve better learning results. We plan to refer to the current the country school and high school experiment course from the course of script design, laboratory scenario establishment, and interactive integration of virtual reality equipment. In addition, we also plan to combine virtual labs in a variety of virtual reality equipment, to the students a more flexible choice of devices, and finally for the entire virtual experiment teaching materials, the implementation of a property management system. It protects the precious teaching files. I believe that through this system, we can achieve a rich sense of participation, attraction, self-realization of the learning meaning of the virtual teaching environment.
