The 13th Semi-Presidentialism and Democracy Symposium, co-organized by the Institute of Political Science, Academia Sinica and the Graduate Institute of Law and Government, National Central University, was held on May 14, 2022. The original plan was held at International Conference Hall, Hakka College, National Central University. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic, the conference was held by online Webex meeting as an alternative. The Principal Jing-Yang Jou of National Central University delivered a speech in the symposium, and the keynote speaker was chaired by Professor Jiunn-rong Yeh from the College of Law, National Taiwan University. At the same time, the organizer invited academically advanced scholar in the field of constitutionalism and legal academia, Distinguished Professor Way Sun and Professor In-Chin Chen from the Graduate Institute of Law and Government, National Central University, and Distinguished Professor Da-Chi Liao of the Graduate Institute of Political Science, National Sun Yat-Sen University, Professor Yeh-Lih Wang, Department of Political Science, National Taiwan University, Professor Jenq-Rong Shyu of the Graduate Institute of China and Asia-Pacific Studies of National Sun Yat-Sen University, and Academician Yu-Shan Wu of the Academia Sinica served as the host. There were many top scholars in academia served as the reviewers. This Symposium was successfully held under the cooperation of the working team led by the Event General Coordinator, Academician Yu-Shan Wu of Academia Sinica, and the Executive Director, Kuo-Yun Chung, Director of the Graduate Institute of Law and Government, National Central University.
