Description
One of the most serious challenges facing us today is how to realize sustainable energy under the optimal balance of achieving social, economical and environmental sustainability. Green manufacturing, green products and green living become the main focus that people around the world are striving toward. The light source module is one of the most important modules of the opto-mechatronic systems. The green light modules and application systems satisfy the concept of energy-saving, environmental protection and safety. Many of the advantages of LEDs are currently the best candidate technologies of the green light source. Many indications are the era of the LED light source from coming to fruition. Certainly, its various applications will also vigorous growth. Therefore, it is important and necessary to the development of green light source modules and application systems.Optical technology, cooling technology, sensing technology, electronic control technology and system integration technology are the core technologies required by the green light modules and application systems. Our core members have many years of research experience in these technologies and have a wealth of experiences in university-industry cooperation in these technologies and related technologies, respectively.Driven by this project, we hope to combine the power of relevant government, academic institutions, research institutes and industry, establish a technology service platform of green light module and application system, and set up a university-industry technology alliance, to services and counseling of related industries, especially small and medium-sized enterprises and thus to enhance their international competitiveness.
