Project Details

Description

This proposal is a 3-year project, the main work is based on new government energy policies and goals of the industrial technology foresight research program - green energy technology, the energy research division in the Ministry of Science and Technology will follow the four major innovative pillars (namely, new energy, energy saving, energy storage, smart system integration), and promote research developments on solar energy, wind energy, new power-saving campaign, grid-level energy storage, lithium battery, fuel cell, and other new energy technologies. In addition, it promotes domestic and international academic research to exchanged and cooperated in energy conservation technology, green energy and other energy material, and strengthen external communication and coordination in its field. These goals will be achieve by four main practices: (1) The coordinator of the energy research division will invite outstanding scholars, senior researchers and experts from industries to form an advisory committee, to discuss and to identify the future goals for energy researches in Taiwan, with dynamic adjustments and modifications. (2) In the program, we will continue to promote the industrial and academic research collaboration and integrated researches, thereby enhancing the opportunities for technology transfer of research.
