Description
The situation of Hakka learning and inheritance is seriously disrupted by the younger generation. This project aims to explore the attitudes of the Hakka younger generation to Hakka learning and inheritance, and to develop an incentive mechanism that can improve the learning of Hakka by the younger generation. This project cites "rational choice theory" and "symbolic politics theory" as the analytical framework, and amends them to apply to the situation in China. It examines the Hakka young generation's attitude towards Hakka learning and inheritance under the competition and cooperation between the Hakka language policy and the 2030 bilingual policy. And from the perspective of the Hakka young generation, the Hakka learning incentive mechanism strategy is proposed. This project is planned for a period of one year. It adopts focus group discussion method and face-to-face in-depth interviews with experts and scholars for the Hakka young generations in the first, second, and third types of areas, respectively, to explore ways to improve the Hakka young generation's learning and inheritance of the Hakka language. Incentive mechanism, as well as research and development of Hakka young generation Hakka revitalization policy recommendations. The expected impact of this project is: (1) Society: In response to the Hakka Committee's promotion of the 112th year's governance goals and strategies, it provides suggestions on Hakka revitalization policies for the young Hakka generation in Taiwan. (2) Economy: This plan is based on the problems faced by the Hakka young generations in the first, second, and third types of areas in learning and inheriting the Hakka language, and researches the Hakka revitalization promotion mechanism and practical strategies adapted to local conditions, which will benefit the government in this area. Resource allocation in three types of regions. (3) Academic development: Attempt to develop the theoretical foundation of the "mother tongue learning motivation theory" of the young Hakka generation in my country, and expand the dialogue space for Taiwan's Hakka policy research.
