Relativity Symmetry Contraction and Quantum Spacetime

The big final goal of the program effort is to find the right model for thedeep microscopic quantum spacetime and build the theory of its dynamics.We have just obtained a first model of quantum space for simply ordinaryquantum mechanics and have been working on a full description of thepicture including the observable algebra and dynamics. Another direction isthe similar formulation with Einstein special relativity incorporated, with itsexplicit contraction to the classical Minkowski spacetime picture as well ascontraction to the quantum space of the extended Galilean setting beforegoing to Newtonian. We will also start to explore all those pictures in thepure algebraic and noncommutative geometric language, as preparation forgoing to the deep microscopic regime.
