This project is dedicated to addressing the challenges encountered by students enrolled in the “Teaching Materials and Methods of French” course. It employs a collaborative approach that integrates theoretical concepts into a diverse array of practical applications. The primary issues to be addressed encompass:1.Bridging the gap between theory and practice.2.Enhancing student collaboration with group activities.3.Alleviating the significant course workload, which has been causing heightened levels of psychological stress among students.To enhance the students’ collaborative learning experience, this project will utilize the jigsaw method. Furthermore, it will implement a Cognitive Apprenticeship framework to augment students’ teaching skills.Beyond its immediate objectives, this project aims to serve as a valuable reference for the design and improvement of the “Teaching Materials and Methods of French” course in Taiwan. Additionally, the project seeks to offer the textbooks created by students as instructional materials for optional French courses in high schools.
