Pavement Improvement Project Pavement Assessment and Analysis Plan for Southbound Section 36K - 42K Road Base Provincial Highway No. 61

Project Details

Description

To understand the road strength and pavement deterioration causes along Provincial Highway No. 61 Southbound Road 36K~42K, field inspections will be conducted using Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) and Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP). Relevant tests will also be performed in the laboratory, focusing on the coring locations and the mixture materials expected to be used. During the field inspection stage, improvement recommendations will be provided for weak areas in the road embankment section, and the pavement distress evaluation for the bridge section. Historical pavement data will be collected to determine the pavement thickness for each road section, and to establish a database for future maintenance needs of the Maintenance Office.
