Office Operation Plan for the Taiwan Consortium of Emergent Crystalline Materials(1/2)

Project Details

Description

We propose to establish a program office to promote and organize the activities of MOSTTaiwan Consortium of Emergent Crystalline Materials (TCECM). TCECM has beenassembled and supported by the best research teams in Taiwan for novel materialdevelopment, single-crystal growth, thin-film preparation, and advanced propertycharacterization; it is expected to become the central supporting resource to the research ofcondensed matter sciences. The program office is designed to promote the TCECM researchactivities through information exchange, annual conference, workshops, material supply, visiting scientist hosting and advanced technical personnel training. The ultimate goal isaiming at creating a world-class material research center that allows efficient management,long-term planning, technological excellence and sustainable technical personnel training. Inaddition to promoting excellence of scientific research, we would also like to promote theinteraction between the research of novel materials and their industrial applications.
