Project Details
Description
The purpose of the present proposed study is to seek a plan to improve the international performance of Taiwan's women's football (soccer) players, and to increase the opportunities and platforms for women's future participation in soccer development in Taiwan. The present proposed study will focus on four different aspects of female soccer players: "mental performance and development", "exercise physiology, injury prevention and energy balance", "sports performance" and "brain health, virtual reality stress assessment and training". Through dynamic research and cross-domain integration, the study will seek to improve the competitive performance of Taiwan’s female soccer players, prevent injuries and illness, and build a platform for intelligent sensing and assessment of soccer's special mental performance and development. By promoting soccer, the study further aims to advance the health of the general public and related sports industries in Taiwan, and to achieve the following five goals: (1) To establish a "series of soccer-related scientific research results data"; (2) To establish an "accurate intelligence sensing platform for evaluating soccer mental performance, development and talent selection"; (3) To construct a "women's soccer player injury prevention and energy balance monitoring system"; (4) To establish a "series of women's soccer performance strategy systems"; (5) To develop “precision women's soccer virtual reality stress assessment and training strategies with multimodal sensors". Therefore, the above-mentioned platforms, systems and strategies developed by the present proposed study will be used to enhance the competitive strength of Taiwan's women's soccer teams at all levels to participate in future international competitions, thus helping to concentrate society's attention on sports and health. In addition, this proposed study will promote the development of grass-roots and children's soccer in Taiwan, so as to achieve the goal of deeply cultivating sports and health among the general public.
