Description

As a country subject to high climate risks, Taiwan needs more active strategies and actions to meet the challenges of the climate crisis. Only by expanding public awareness and social participation in climate action and environmental education, and conducting local climate governance professionally, can we effectively build a more resilient community. This project continues to cultivate the Fuxing District of Taoyuan City. According to the characteristics of the regional environment, it takes "sustainability" as the core concept, and works together with the tribes to learn from each other. The goal is to create a resilient community that can truly bear the risk of disasters. Plan implementation strategy: Disaster prevention is a race against time, and sustainability is maintaining living space. Through the four sub-projects, we will work together to strive for the time-space extension of survival, life, and livelihood in the revival area. Specific methods: 1. Use the "Smart Disaster Prevention" sub-project to observe regional vulnerability factors, and use the observed and analyzed data to convey multi-faceted disaster prevention and climate governance strategies; 2. Through the "Energy and Carbon Reduction" sub-project, use " Net Zero Carbon Emission" is action-oriented and constructs an energy transition model with local characteristics; 3. Through the improvement of water resource monitoring technology and information dissemination, link the two environmental education priorities of "air quality" and "waste reuse" to create a "Sustainable environment" is the core concept of the native community; 4.
