Perovskite solar cell (PSC) is one of the new generation photovoltaic (NPV) technology. The development history of the PSC is less than 10 years, however, the efficiency sharply increases from less than 4% to exceed 23%. This kind of development speed is never found in the PV technology. It seems that PSC will be the one the representative of the low-cost green energy. Now PSC is not just a laboratory curiosity but is time for thinking commercialize this PV technology. This 2-year proposal will focus on the study of several issues (such as the preparation methods for large-area, high quality films, improve the device long term stability and thermal stability) related to the commercialization of the PSC. We will use the verify the components of the perovskite precursor solution, more thermal stable electron or hole transporting materials, post treatment of the perovskite film to make large-area, high quality perovskite films, using BAI、AVAI、PEAI to synthesis 2D/3D perovskite or using inorganic、high hydrophikic hole transporting materials (such as LiCoO2、LiBO2、LiTaO3、LiMoO3、NiO to replace the PEDOT:PSS) to improve the device long term stability and thermal stability. Finally the efficiency of the resulting high efficiency solar cells or modules will be certified.
